DESCRIPTION:Designed to give you a broad overview of the health\, safety and environmental issues to be considered when making programmes or films. \nThe course will explain why risk management is needed in production and give practical methods of how it should be tackled. It is recognised that mental health and culture have both grown in importance to production management in recent times and this course discusses the key approaches in dealing with these critical topic areas. The same health and safety skills are needed across a range of creative media sectors that are involved in film and television production. \nThat’s why ScreenSkills have worked with the industry to create the Health and Safety Framework\, an agreement across sectors about which qualifications or training courses are needed for priority production roles. It means that training and qualifications you do with one employer will be recognised and valued by your next employer. \nUpon successfully completing this programme\, you will gain a PSP certificate via the ScreenSkills website which employers can use to verify your level of training – this is valid for 5 years.
