Wendy Pelaez

Wendy joined First Option in 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from her 26-year tenure at the BBC. Her career at the BBC spanned various roles, including positions within Television Studio Production Resources (TSPR), Studio Turnaround, and ultimately BBC Safety.

With 13 years’ expertise as BBC Operations Safety Manager, Wendy has been instrumental in ensuring safety standards across diverse genres. She also served as a Production Safety Advisor, supporting TV, Radio, Events, and Regional News. Her extensive knowledge and experience cover a comprehensive range of production environments, demonstrating her versatility and dedication to safety excellence.

Wendy has a NEBOSH Diploma and is a Graduate member of IOSH.
