This online course is aimed primarily at those starting out on a production and in a non-managerial role. It will act as a precursor to the Risk Management of Productions face-to-face/online course for those with designated responsibilities for formal risk assessments.
This course will enable programme makers to fulfil their due diligence requirements for risk assessment training. The course also aims to raise the awareness of health and safety on a production shoot, encourage crew to recognise when something is wrong and to change personal behaviours and attitudes towards health and safety while at work; to encourage behaviour-based safety.
This course will take you approximately 60 minutes to complete. Each section leads with video content presented by Duncan Milligan, a fictional safety adviser. You can’t move forward until you’ve completed any questions or interactive elements of the course.
At the end of the course there is a short quiz for you to complete. The pass mark is 80%, and unless you have viewed all the content it will be very difficult to pass. You will only receive 3 attempts to pass the quiz. After your last attempt, the course will need to be reset and taken again. Good luck!
