All suspended equipment should have an independent safety bond in addition to its primary means of suspension. A safe system of work should be employed whenever it is necessary to enter such grids.

Prior to working on the grid, it is good practice to have a permit to work procedure in place. During studio occupancy, including the presence of a studio audience, any work on the grid must be strictly restricted.
