Marquees are typically temporary structures which are largely made from fabric with a supporting frame; they can vary considerably in their size and complexity from small tents to multi storey structures designed to contain hundreds of people.
It is important that all structures are, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe particularly in case of fire or adverse weather, and that procedures are in place to protect the public and others using the facility in these circumstances.
