The Producer or person in charge must ensure that appropriate checks are made to ensure that goods comply with safety standards, that services are provided by competent people/organisations, and a record of the checks kept with the risk assessment.

Whether prizes are purchased or donated it is important to ensure that they comply with the appropriate Regulation or Standard. If goods are purchased from a reputable organisation they will be able to supply confirmation that the goods comply with relevant Regulation or Standard.
