Likelihood Severity
Remote Rare occurrence: an event that is highly unlikely with a minimal chance of it happening. Minor Injury or illness not covered below.
Possible Foreseeable occurrence: a moderate chance of an event occurring. It is neither uncommon nor frequent but falls somewhere in between. Significant Injury or illness resulting in a person being hospitalised or unable to perform their work for seven days or more.
Probable Likely occurrence: a significant probability of an event occurring. It is expected to happen occasionally or repeatedly. Severe Injury or illness resulting in death, permanent or irreversible disabling condition.
