Reporting of Incidents, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR)
The legislation places responsibility on those in control of work premises to formally report certain outcomes of workplace accidents, occupational diseases, and specified near-misses (also known as dangerous occurrences).
The aim of RIDDOR is to promote transparency and accountability within workplaces, assisting with identifying patterns and collecting accurate data on health and safety incidents across all industries and fields.
