Traffic

Floors and traffic routes must be sound and strong enough for all loads placed on them and expected traffic use. Surfaces must not have holes, be uneven or slippery and must be kept free from obstructions that could cause a slip, trip or fall hazard.

Doors and gates must be suitably constructed and fitted with necessary safety devices.

All traffic routes for vehicles around premises must be adequate to meet the needs of the vehicles visiting the site but not compromise the safety of pedestrians.
