Vehicles With Extendable Masts

Production activities potentially expose staff to the risk of electrocution from contact with overhead power lines e.g. when using radio cars and other technical vehicles with masts. Actual contact with a power line is not necessary to result in electric shock.

For working under or closer to power lines, a maximum vertical height of 2.4 metres when measured from ground level to the highest point (allowing for Vehicle height, personnel, equipment, or anything else) is permissible.
