Video walls must be designed and constructed with regard to the intended usage including factors such as intended mobility, height, eccentric load etc.

Where possible the use of “projection type” monitors (LCD screens) must be encouraged as the centre of gravity is more central thus making the wall more stable. Design features must include adequate counterbalancing featured as an integral part of the set. The video wall itself must be securely attached to rostra where possible. All screens within a video wall must be bonded to each other and to the main structure to ensure the stability.
