Practical Flame

Practical fires must be simulated wherever possible by the use of gas, electricity or firelighters under the control of a Special Effects Designer / contractor. Real flame or practical flame used on a production set must always be kept an adequate distance from staff, artists and audience.

All surrounding materials must be durably fire proofed, low flammability or be fire retardant.
