When you buy a retainer subscription, you become the Team Owner. This gives you the ability to give other people access. Check the ‘Take Up A Seat’ box if you want to be one of those users. When you add a user, you can decide if they are a Member or a Manager.

Managers can add and remove users in addition to accessing all the Advice Hub benefits – but only you as Team Owner will receive communications such as billing and renewal notices.

Note that when a subscription expires, all users lose access. Check the Changing Subscriptions tab for more information.

How safe is my credit card data?

The payment fields are hosted by Stripe and are fully PCI-DSS compliant. None of your sensitive data passes through our servers.

How can I pay?

Via Stripe we accept all major credit cards plus ApplePay and Google Pay.

How can I cancel?

Go to My Account > My Subscriptions to turn Auto Renew off. Your access will cease at the end of your subscription.

To assign seats to users, go to My Account > Team > Add Member.

Need to reassign a seat? Simple. Go to My Account > Team > Members and remove a member – then just reassign that seat using Add Member.

Need more places? to My Account > Team > Team Settings.

Adding and Removing Seats

  • If you – as a team owner – are adding seats, you will go through the checkout process to pay for the new seat’s immediate access to Advice Line and KnowledgeBase and to update the recurring subscription total going forward.
  • The initial charge will be prorated to account for the time remaining in the current billing cycle to ensure you are charged fairly for the new seats. For example, if a subscription charges £100/member/month and the team is halfway through the month when a seat is added, you will initially pay £50 for that seat.
  • When the subscription renews at the end of the month, the new seat will be charged £100 for renewal, like all other seats on the team.
  • If you are removing seats, the recurring total will be reduced to account for the lost seats. However, you will not be reimbursed for any unused time on the current billing cycle for those seats. The new recurring total will apply to the next renewal payment.
  • If adding new seats takes you over a discount threshold, the system will take care of that too for all seats!
